Old House in Sepia by Barbara Griffin. If walls could talk...
This old house has seen better days and there are many stories behind its walls. It is gone today but many memories live on. Firstly the man that built it raised his family in it and then sold it to my grandfather. It was then floated by water to this location. His family grew up and moved on and then over the years three other families lived in the then vacant house. My little family was the last to live here. The house has seen courtships, weddings, births, parties, happiness, sadness, cold, and even death, So to say it has a story to tell is an understatement. It has at least seven families stories to tell! So I had to paint it to preserve those memories!
