Boil Up in the Woods - Porthole Vignette by Barbara Griffin. This vintage Newfoundland fishing scene is a drawing on fabric of a boil up in the woods. While in the woods cutting wood all day or trouting, the copper kettle is usually boiled by making a small fire and having a cup of tea and bread with butter and molasses, called a mugup. The digital framing on this image would make it idea as a metal print with no frame but would look just as good as an acrylic print or art print.
