The Chrysanthemum Stone is a naturally occurring stone that is made from a mixture of gypsum, dolomite and limestone with other minerals including Calcite, Celestite, Andalusite and Feldspar. The stone is found in Japan, China, Canada and USA. It is black with a burst of white crystals that resemble a flowering Chrysanthemum. It is used as a healing stone and has a calming energy that helps you feel centered. It brings joy, happiness and luck and is said to assist in finding your true path in life. My paintings of these beautiful flowering stones are a perfect substitute for the real thing.
