Moon - Mountains - Borealis - Quilt Painting by Barbara Griffin. I called this patchwork quilt design Moon Mountains Borealis because that is what it looked like to me when it was finished. Although the quarter circles looked more like a sun, I chose moon because it is easier to see the aurora borealis at night. This is a patchwork quilt design that is easy to make and would use up lots of scrappy pieces of fabric left over from other projects.
