Snowmageddon 1-2020 by Barbara Griffin. Snowmageddon was the name given to the January 2020 blizzard snowstorm that saw nearly 100 centimeters of snow slammed into eastern Newfoundland. The howling snow was accompanied by high winds and storm surges along the coastline. Howling winds and blowing snow made hiking and snowmobiling on trails very difficult and treacherous.
